ArtShow at the Rogers Memorial Library.

20 of my paintings and sculptures are on display this month of September at the library in Southampton N.Y. These new pieces combine sculptural plaster that I incorporated onto the canvas. I’m having a lot of fun working the negative space outside the rectangular canvas frames. My fish fly in the air, and my birds are swimming in the ocean, all very dream like and surreal.

Welcome

STUDIO

My work reflects my life’s experiences especially living and painting in the New England Mountains and the coast of Long Island. Art is a dialogue within myself and the surrounding world. I embody my images, fish, mountains, birds etc… and paint and draw them in many different forms. These dream images flow throughout my drawings and canvasses and are in constant flux exploring new surrounding planes. Horizon lines are topsy- turvy where birds magically appear swimming below the ocean and fish flying throughout the vast openings of sky and mountains. My palette is especially important for I use color as a means of intimate expression.

Throughout my life I have and still feel the endless compulsion to create art. Please enjoy the journey into my subconscious.
